I made this custom BJD doll head because there was no option to order a desired head. I had Sephiroth from FFVII in mind, and though there were 4 Minimee group orders I felt that this is not what I need. The Minimee quality is a total fail IMHO - rough casts and total asymmetry.

So I made the head by myself. I'm not a professional artist so it was a hard task))

Material: Apoxie Sculpt. Time spent: roughly 3 weeks, and then some occasional refining here and there.

You can see progress pics here, from the point I started making photos to the final result with wig and makeup.

And I wish I had his HAIR!! Even short it's better than the coarse, thick, brunette SWEATER I got growin' on my head! Srsly! For every 1 hair you have, I have 12. I swear!! *dies of heat stroke*

Oh, dear! Every kind of hair is beautiful))) I have a very thin hair but I don't give a shit and appreciate what I have. Thick hair is great, you may do those intricate towers or thick braids :)

Nope. Can't do much with my hair. I have a living sweater with a mind of it's own. and 3 cowlicks. one in front and two on the crown of my head. they don't help at ALL!!!
