It looks like an excellent pattern, I might try it for my boy.

But...isn't there a pattern part missing...? Shouldn't there be a...uh...flap-thingy behind the shoe laces...?

Thank you! Yes, I forgot to add the "tongue". My advice is to make the boots and then to determine width and height of the tongues. If I remember correctly the width is about 12 mm.
