Loki the Winter King - 02 by scargeear Loki the Winter King - 02 by scargeear
Loki is Whispering Grass Thomas head on Soom Supergem body. The head is sculpted by me and casted at Dollshecraft.

Viking costume is made by me.
Materials used: linen, wool and cotton fabrics, natural leather and suede, embroidery is done by hand, metal pieces are made of copper and oxidized with 'liver of sulfur' patina.
A set of Elder Futhark runes is a nice addition to the set.

Reconstruction of the costume from Mammen, Denmark, was chosen as a main reference, and I used a lot of other sources on the viking clothes of X-XI centuries.

HOLY JESUS!!! I WANT THAT HEAD!!!

Any chance on making it in 1:9 scale? That would be for an 8" figure, BTW.

It looks SOOOOO real, I almost expect it to start talking!

Better yet! Both 1:6 AND 1:9 scale!!!!

I've got an Enterbay Bruce Lee, nekkid base body that would be PERFECT for that head.

And a friend of mine is coming out with an 8" male figure that would be perfect for the 1:9 scale one.

Oh, please, please, please tell me you could make me a pair of heads!!!!

Pretty please?????

Thank you so much!
I work in much bigger scale than you need though. He is about 1:3, and the full doll could be about 65-70 cm high. I could never make a head of this quality in 1:9, ehehe, too tough for my skillz))

Hmmmm...I have some friends who could probably do a decent shrink job on the head if I asked.

And I think you have excellent skillz. Just because you haven't worked in that scale doesn't mean you CAN'T work in that scale.

Ya wanna hard scale?? Amelia Thimble! THAT'S a hard scale on account of she's such a teensy weensy thing.

BTW, there wasn't any price listed on the site for the head.

How much is he, and where can I get a pair of pretty green eyes for him?

Thank you very much again!

Actually I know my limits and the scale I'm the most comfortable with. I have the doll of 10.5 cm high: [link] and I could never made a look-alike head in that size))

The order period for Thomas will be opened in a few days, the info about price will be there soon.

I can always have the head copied and then shrunk by some of my friends in the customizing community.

And that little mousie is just too cute!
