Elven boots with embroideryby ~scargeear

Artisan Crafts / Leatherwork

I already had a pair of black boots but I wanted one more pair of a light color. I decided to have a set of items that fit for an elven costume. The other two items are this bag and belt.

The boots are very comfortable and fit my feet like gloves.

You may use my patterns to make the boots by yourself or order it somewhere. There are two pattern files: CDR for those who likes to adjust the size digitally, and TIFF with 300 dpi resolution. If you can't open CDR - just print out the TIFF so you'll have the pattern. Then you can adjust it.

Wonderful boots! They look comfortable. How is the arch support in them?

Thank you very much! No arch support actually, as I have a huge natural instep of my feet.

Hi there, thanks so much for this pattern, I'm using it now! What order would you recommend sewing everything together?

A note for others using this - I have found that even though my feet is the same length as scargeer's, these shoes are about a size too small (I guess my feet are wider) so when you print out the pattern, compare the sole to your own footprint before cutting any fabric

You're welcome! I suggest to sew all the top parts first, then to attach the sole to the top.

Every foot is unique so people need to make adjustments anyway.
